0:18.0	This was a deep dive I was doing in a series on the Declaration of Independence, which obviously
0:23.7	we're doing a lot of that right now with our Friday shows with Rochelle Porto, which are also
0:30.3	titled, ironically, Our Sacred Honor. This show in particular digs into the Declaration of Independence, but does so in a very unique way.
0:40.4	What I had done was to take the list of repeated injuries that were listed in the Declaration of Independence,
0:47.4	that last couple sentences of the second paragraph read,
0:50.8	The history of the present King of Great Britain is a history of repeated
0:54.6	injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute tyranny
1:00.9	over the states. To prove this, let facts be submitted to a candid world. And I rewrote many of
1:07.8	those facts to bring relevancy of the time that we're in and the
1:12.5	criticality of the despotic government we're living under. This same time frame is still peak
1:18.5	COVID. We're now 22 February. The Biden administration is pushing harder now to enforce the
1:26.8	vaccine and the lockdowns. We haven't gotten through that storm yet.
1:30.0	As I've said this a number of times, when I listen to myself, I'm also hearing that frustration and that intensity that we were living in.
1:39.5	It was a very intense and unsettling time. And so this is a very interesting reflection for me on so many
1:45.8	levels. This whole week has been. And this particular show tends to be rather bold in modernizing
1:51.3	the at least part of the Declaration of Independence. The intent is there that we have to understand
1:56.5	that the Declaration of Independence was timeless in many ways, but in order to bring it to full focus,
2:04.5	my hope would be that we would understand what the intent of our founding fathers was
2:08.4	and then to be able to frame this time in such a way that we would understand
