Oh, well, hey everyone, it's Nate. Welcome to a very special episode number 381 of The Vinyl Guide.

And let me explain why it's a very special episode. Normally, I'm talking to artists and record

collectors about the rare records they made, get their memories of recording and pressing them up,

and of course, share them here on the podcast. Today is a little similar

and a little different. First, it's different because I'm the guy who made the rare record. I was in a

band in high school and we cut a record, which is now completely to my surprise, quite collectible.

And in this episode, it's going to be me sharing the stories.

However, I've invited along my old bandmates, Jason Waroff and Chuck Boyd, two guys who I've

probably spent more time laughing with than any other humans on Earth. Jason, Chuck, and I were

three quarters of the band Metropolis. And we made a record

in our senior year of high school with two songs, Time Heels Everything, and The Raven. And that

record now goes for several hundred dollars on discogs in the secondary market. That's

pretty amazing, and it's a real headspin. But in
