Today's bend-ed knee is a two-part bented knee.

It's really amazing conversation that I had with Don Cox.

And it started out being one in our general weekly conversations about North Carolina and

then moving into kind of some discussions of generational issues like Gen X.

But the pivot happened in the second hour, which is why I split it into two, that gets

into this vision that is really starting to come together of what it looks like when

Barge Nation and Bald Guy Brew start to weave together a vision of coffee and Jesus.

And so I hope you enjoy the two parts that are here today.

Take time to listen to them both.

They're powerful.

It's really a lot of Holy Spirit and an amazing vision going forward of where God's leading us,

two people that met a year and a half ago with a direction in life that is now bringing two communities together in such a powerful,

wonderful way.

My mama would say you gotta fight for what is right.

To her I would say I want to give back the world's own light.

But it's an empty road.

I feel so alone.
