0:10.6	Lauren and I thought it would be a great opportunity to do another podcast with our dad.
0:15.0	I was on a mom walk. I was on a mom date with a new friend and we were exchanging birth
0:22.8	stories. I was telling her how I had the worst pregnancy ever, but I had a great delivery.
0:28.1	And she told me that she didn't have an epidural and her labor was excruciating. And I wondered
0:35.1	why I said, why didn't you get one? And she said that she didn't want labor to be prolonged.
0:40.0	And I was like, that is such a wives tale when it comes to epidurals. So I thought that
0:46.8	I would go on Instagram ask y'all for your questions about epidurals. And then I would
0:52.3	have us sit down with my dad and get some answers for y'all. I was very fascinated by the
0:57.4	whole thing leading up to my pregnancy. And I felt like I was pretty well versed in it.
1:01.4	Now I just want to say before we get into the interview, getting an epidural or going
1:06.9	the non-medicated route for childbirth are both totally respectable ways of doing so.
1:14.4	They're both, in my opinion, and I think in most people's opinion, a natural labor. And
1:21.8	I don't want this to sway anyone or make it like it's epidural propaganda, just because
1:29.0	I'm the daughter of an anesthesiologist. I just want to be informative. I think there's
1:34.4	a lot of questions out there that women don't have answers to when they're going into the
