2:14.1	patriots, and tonight is November 5th and it's presidential election night,
2:21.4	and we're not going to go over any presidential outcomes. So if you're looking for that,
2:26.3	I can totally understand, but that's not going to be my focus tonight. I really thought that
2:30.8	rather than doing what pretty much everyone else is doing, that we should
2:34.3	dig into a few other things. Here's some perspectives on where we currently are as a nation.
2:39.6	Look at our history, start to understand really what we are as a republic, learn a little bit about
2:44.7	that, and also learn what to remind ourselves or, for some, learn how the electoral college
2:50.1	works and why it's there. I think this
2:52.7	sort of knowledge is really important, especially as we head into an election point where
2:56.4	probably the most divisive election in times that we can remember, with outcomes it could be
3:02.9	extremely bad. And probably, I don't know that we've been in an election this divisive other than
3:07.4	the probably 1800s prior to the Civil War. We are really at a very critical point.
