article somewhere that Maynard James Keenan of Toole considered them a source of inspiration,

and me, being a tool nut then and now, that was enough to make me go out and seek the band

failure. I got a copy of Fantastic Planet, then only available on CD,

and I ended up playing it over and over and over again. I absolutely loved that album.

Then I went back to the Failure Catalog, got comfort and magnified, and I even saw what

turned out to be Failure's last appearance as a band in 1997. Then, fast forward about 12 years later, their album Fantastic Planet was released for the first
