Summary
EP3: To Renee’s surprise, she and her husband did not want visitors for weeks after bringing home their newborn son (with the exception of Renee's immediate family). After receiving hundreds of comments on her TikTok about this very topic, it became clear that there is a huge lack of communication between new parents and family & friends.
In this episode, Renee questions why everyone and their damn dog visits after new parents bring home a baby. Many new parents, especially moms, feel bad saying "no" to visitor requests. This needs to change. Boundaries need to be set. Who wants visitors coming in and out of the house when you're bleeding, pumping yourself, and just want to sleep! Be a pal and share this episode with new-parents-to-be.

| 1:41.6 | not wanting visitors after bringing home a newborn baby. The reason this is one of |
| 1:47.8 | my favorite topics is because it was such an unexpected thing for me. I figured we would bring |
| 1:55.0 | home Milo and I would have all my family, all my friends over because that's what everyone does, right? For some reason, |
| 2:02.3 | it's just the norm to have a baby, bring home the baby, and then have everyone come and visit |
| 2:09.8 | and hold the baby and bring gifts or whatever. So when we brought home Milo and I quickly realized |
| 2:17.3 | that I didn't want visitors at all, I was shocked that I thought, like, am I the only one that feels this way? |
| 2:25.0 | And I don't mean I just didn't want visitors for the first week or two. |
| 2:29.6 | Like, I think it was a few weeks, like three or four weeks. |
