Well, hey everyone, it's Nate here. Welcome to day four of our live in the Mojave Desert Week,

where we're talking to the bands that were part of this incredible concert series. Now, years from now,

when the story of the COVID-19 pandemic is told and the subject of art and music comes up,

there's going to be relatively few highlights. It was a tough year for musicians,

artists, and fans, as we were unable to gather for any live shows. But where one door closes,

another one opens, and one of the absolute bright spots of 2020 was the Live in the Mojave

Desert Concert Series, a series of five concert films made at the height of the pandemic featuring some amazing bands like Earthless, Spirit Mother, Nebula, Mountain Tamer, etc. However, one band was formed in the weeks leading up to this event and made their debut on the streaming TV screens

around the world. That band is Stoner, the brainchild of friends and former bandmates,

Brand Piorke, Nick Alivari, and Ryan Gute. And Stoner was a stroke of genius, and in a year

of challenges and horseshit, the formation and debut of Stoner was a rare

and wonderful surprise.
