The Well, I'm not exactly sure who named this Art Bell the first thousand years.

It makes me feel a little ancient.

I just passed my 54th birthday, but Art Bell, the first thousand years years I guess it's going to be.

You know way back when, actually not that long ago.

We had a celebration when I hit the first 100 affiliate mark.

I mean, that's a big step for a syndicated program,

getting 100 affiliates.

And my boss at the time, Alan Corbett, predicted we were were going places nobody else had ever gone before and by God we did listen

All right it's Saturday morning and it's it's always a lot of fun.

Saturday mornings are always a lot of fun.

We let it go just about anywhere at all.

As you know, this is sort of the conclusion of a week of celebration

of actually reaching and now passing 100 affiliates and in the spirit of that we have the big

cheese here he is Alan Corbeth he is president of the CBC network.

Blasting out of the ether one night

what was Art Bell. And I listened to the show and I liked it. Now the world did not stop turning on its axis when I heard the show. I have to tell you that.

I did thought it was a really you that. I thought it was good enough because the next night I wanted to listen to it.

So I listened to it again on the next night I thought it was a better show.

And by about the end of the week I really like the art bell show. So much so that the following week, of course, I was
