Well, hey, everyone, we made it. Yep, we're all here on this historical week, a time period

that's going to be talked about in future textbooks and Ken Burns' documentaries, and we finally

made it. No, I'm not talking about the U.S. presidential election. I'm talking about the new Mr.

Bungle record. The raging wrath of the Easter Bunny, the first Mr. Bungle record. The Raging Wrath of the Easter Bunny,

the first Mr. Bungle music was released after over 20 years of waiting. Lots of excitement all

around the world. It's been all across social media, lots of press and interviews. I think even

Jason Mamoa shared a picture of the new Bungle release on Instagram.

So it's been a wonderful week for Mr. Bungle fans.

And of course, I am one of them.

I am absolutely excited and glad to finally have my vinyl copy of that album.

However, it's important to note that Mr. Bungle consists of five extremely talented musicians,

both then and now. And with the sheer brilliance of Trace Bruins and Trevor Dunn and, of course,

the amazing Mike Patton, it can be easy to overlook the contributions of other members,

like Danny Hyfitts and Bear McKinnon, who are also on that same

level of brilliance. And in recent years, I've sought out the post-bungle recordings of all the members,

Secret Chiefs Three, anything Trevor Dunn's done, all the Mike Patt and stuff I'm already on board.

And that also goes for Bear McKinnon.

And I've been totally blown away by the wonderfulness that is Bear McKinnon's band,

Umlaut.
