But no, there is an upcoming runoff election in the state of Georgia.

It is incredibly important.

So what the heck is a runoff election?

Under Georgia's laws, a Senate candidate needs to hit 50% of the vote in order to avoid a runoff.

So in the election in November, neither of the state's current Republican senators,

but David Perdue and Kelly Laughler, but reached that cutoff, meaning both contests will
