Hello and welcome back to another episode of Let's Talk About It. I am back here in

Seattle with the lovely Kit Bender. I'm back. Watch out. You are back. Last episode that

we were together on was the gun violence episode. Remember that? I do have very vivid memories

of that. That was one of the more interesting conversations I've had with another human.

I agree. I've had many conversations with people after that episode. I was very impressed

with your level of not only insight and good open questions, but also the little bits

of sass you had. I was like, if I had let a little bit of sass, it would have all been

sass. Right. If you were to start it to unscrew, you were a soda pop that had been shaken

up and you couldn't unscrew that lid too much. It was a little passionate. I had to

really calm it down. I was really thankful I had you for that episode and for that conversation.

What I kept on thinking afterwards was all the sassy things I wish I would have said.

Me too. I was like, man, if I could go back. Then the conversation would have been a

very different one. It would have been an incredibly different one. It was very interesting.

I agree. Very interesting. Very interesting. An insightful. Yeah. Definitely. Hopefully we're

going to have another very interesting and insightful episode and conversation here today.

We're doing a little bit of a follow up from what was that episode like our second? Second

or third? Yeah. Second or third episode on male female friendships. It was 2017. Right.

Yeah. Last year. I really don't like people do that. You're not the kind of person that

on January 1st says, I haven't had a show or since the last year. And then chuckles.

And then kind of wants to punch them. That's more like a dad joke Derek would make. And

I would roll my eyes out. Yeah. Yeah. Sounds about right. Occasionally they get laughs. But

then it's like too much. Like I don't want to, you know, give him too much positive reinforcement
