Jace Everett and Holly Knight, who are both incredible successful songwriters. Holly Knight's wrote songs for Aero Smith. She wrote a rag doll living in a movie.

She also wrote songs for Pat Benatar. She wrote simply the best, the best for Tina Turner. And on and on and on, she's in the songwriter Hall of Fame.

And Jace Everett just recently had his first number one song. He wrote for an artist. You'll hear all about that on this show. Super cool, man. Have songwriters on that. Say, uh, that's a fucking skill.

To be able to write hit songs. There's so many weird things to get in the way. You got to be able to write the hit song. And then you got to be able to get it to an act that can do it and become a hit song.

I mean, I'm sure there's probably people out there that probably have hundreds of hit songs that no one's ever heard.

I mean, it can happen, man. People write in songs. They don't have the right connections. They don't have management and agent. The songs just sit at their house on cassette tapes.

If you're from Meyer or CDs or a MP3 stick, something somewhere. There's some hit songs laying around going, play me. Put me on the radio. I'm a hit.

But I mean, you know, what is it? You know what a hit is. Even if you don't like the artist doing it, it's a song here in Starbucks or whatever and you walk out. It fucking drives you crazy because it's stuck in your head.

Like that song fucking gangnamen style. Whoa. Can't stand that song. But boom, it's stuck in your head. It's shit's like drugs. Who let the dogs out? One of the who let the dogs out?

I do that whenever I'm mad at a Starbucks person. I just sing that to him and drop that little fucking time bomb in their mind and all day long. They're like, God damn it.

But not these guests. Jason Holley of wrote incredible songs. Great, great songs. Great songs. And then also one of my favorite people on the planet, Mr. Bill Burkhausen today.
