It's a very special episode. As you likely know, April 13th, 2019 is record store day all around the world.

And to commemorate, there have been over 500 titles announced for the day.

Now, of those titles, there is one that is getting a disproportional amount of attention

and with good reason. It's the posthumous release of the two final tracks recorded by Chuck

Mosley titled Joe Hayes Session Number Two. Now, let me give you a bit of a background here. In late

August 2017, Chuck Mosley, former lead singer of Faith No More,

Bad Brain, Cement, and many other projects. He stepped into a recording studio, recorded two

tracks, fully intending to come back and add the finishing touches. However, a little over two

months later, Chuck unfortunately passed away, and plans for these recordings

were shelved indefinitely. However, this record store day, April 13th, these two tracks

will be available in a super limited release, a thousand units worldwide, via Block Global,

a label headed by friend of our show, Sean Franklin, who will talk to about this

release today.
