The time I found out my family lied to me for 19 years.

And this comes from the real angry beave.

You know how after you turn 16, you are so excited to be in adults?

I didn't really get that until I moved out.

My family was full of lives, half truths, and unresolved issues. Here's the only one

of many stories that will haunt my mind. At the age of about five to six, my uncle, my dad's brother,

had a court where my first cousin, his son was one of the witnesses. During this time, to keep me

out of this due to my age,

I was sent to a birthday party for a friend. Meanwhile, everything in my family's life was changing.

I was later informed that my uncle was going to be serving time in prison for selling the devil's

lettuce. Not sure if that was all after the 90s, or it was in the early 90s.

I was told my uncle did admit to selling drugs, but the rest was like falsely accused.

From then on until age of 16, every other weekend we would spend time going to prison to visit

my uncle, which of course caused me to have a friendship with him.

We even became pen pals and wrote letters to each other

about things we like to do, like going carting, laser tag, and stuff like that. This continued

for many years. And then my family met my now husband. The same was also said about him, my uncle,

and we moved on. After getting married, I moved out of state, which happened to be the same time

my uncle got out of prison.

I never really communicated with him at all back then in 2015, and my husband moved back
