Hey, pilots, welcome to Ready for Pushback. It's Nick Fialca. It's another solo show. And today we're

talking about the airline

industry. Who knew? Hire till you furlough. You ever heard about that statement yet? That's it.

Higher till you furlough. Higher till you furlough. That seems to be the aviation industry standard.

But I want to talk about this because I feel like I said it at the beginning of the year that

2023 was going to be ultra competitive there are going to be a lot of waves coming our way and so I feel

like we're in the middle of lots of waves that are getting progressively bigger and progressively

bigger and things are getting weird or maybe I should say things have gotten weird. And everybody wants to

know where we stand now. And everybody's in a little bit of a crisis. And everybody feels like there's

no hope and no chance. And so I just want to talk about it a little bit and take a zoom out from,

we're going to talk about like the regionals, UCCs and the majors right now, okay?

And so let's talk about the regional world.

The thing that's popping up over and over and over again is the fact that the regional still have jets parked.
