And then the first two funerals, I think, were family friends.

And I honestly can't remember if I attended the funeral or like the after party.

One of them was an open casket, actually.

So my mom did not let me see that.

Thankfully, avoiding my scarring for life.

Me, male 27 and my brother is male 25.

Starting with the present day, my uncle has suddenly passed away.

And with the relationship between my brother and a lot of my family, including myself, I don't feel comfortable with my wife and kids being around him at a funeral.

But I know my mother's side of the family will guilt me and such for not bringing them.
