I am your host Elizabeth Joy, and I am joined by my husband here, Vido.

We're a podcaster that believes in empowering women through storytelling and education,

and today's going to be storytelling time.

We're going to be sharing the birth story of our baby girl, Jovi.

How are you feeling?

I feel good.

So this podcast is going to come out when she's two weeks.

Right now, she's about 10 days old, but we've only had her home for a couple nights,

and I feel all of the emotions.

I feel exhausted, but yet somehow I have energy.

To like every morning, I'm like, oh, I need to go back to sleep.

But then I just get up, and I take a shower, and I just go.

I don't know how it works.

Yeah, I don't understand it.

But yeah, I feel like the emotions of the first week were so high,

with everything that happened, and so many ugly cries, and a lot of tears.

And now it's like not even settling in yet that she's our girl and she's home.

But I mean, it's all good, you know?

It's a wild experience.
