So Croatia had the least stringent measures in Europe.

We're going to have a fascinating discussion today because I delighted to welcome back

Professor Gordon Louts from Croatia, but also he's a professor in the UK.

And we had a discussion last year where we made certain predictions and expectations

around this viral epidemic and where it would go.

And now we're going to circle back and

see how accurate they were. So great to see again, Gordon. Fantastic to have you here.

Thank you for invitation. It's pleasure to chat with you. And actually, I just watched what we

discussed last September yesterday. And I think we were quite right then.

But I'll go back to that.

And I think what we should be talking today is what actually went wrong.

Because I don't think we are managing this pandemic in the best way globally when we talk about the planet.

And I really wonder why this happened.

And maybe we can try to identify some of the problems.

So when we talked September last year, we agreed that this virus is very seasonal and that it is behaving

like a regular respiratory virus, although actually this virus is more vascular than the respiratory,

but it's still seasonal. And we chatted about indoor air humidity, which also became a big thing recently,

people starting to appreciate how important it is. I think we agreed that the lockdowns are

not the way to manage pandemics. And despite the fact that many people still believe that lockdowns are saving lives, they're not.
