My guest this episode is absolutely fantastic.

She does so many things in this space and I know it's just going to leave you all with

This interview is with Dr. Tina Sellers and she's a sex therapist and a former professor

of Marriage and Family Therapy at Seattle Pacific University.

She's the founder of the Northwest Institute on intimacy.

She's an asect certified supervisor and asect is the certification for sex therapists.

She's a mother, she's a wife, she's an author.

We're going to talk about her book Sex God and the Conservative Church.

That was written to not only just everyday people but also clinicians to help explain what

it means to grow up with abstinence as education or a faith that is mirrored in sexual shame

and dysfunction.

The book actually walks readers through a critique of American culture and the conservative

Christian church and its effects on intimate partnerships and lives and then begins to reveal

the hidden mystical sex and body positive understanding of sexuality of the Hebrew people.
