Summary

In 1983, women with at least some red in their hair were found dead in multiple states. In 1985 alone, at least 5 women were found that have been tied to this series of murders believed to be perpetrated by an unknown male serial killer. This series has also been called the I-40 murders and the Bible Belt Strangler murders. Some of the victims in this series have never been identified and there are some that believe the series dates back to the late 1970s and may extend into the 1990s. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss this string of murders that have puzzled investigators in many different states. There are inherent issues that result from murders that happen in so many different jurisdictions. Different investigators have different theories and not everyone can agree on which murders are related. These issues make the job of catching the person or persons responsible for these murders even tougher.
