So in this episode I'm talking with Presita Himmley. I had the pleasure of meeting her

and her husband several years ago at an ASCD conference and we ended up not only chatting

for hours but have actually stayed in touch since then.

I've reviewed the Hemley's book.

I've had Preside a guest post on my blog, and I wanted to invite her on the podcast

for quite a while now, and I figured this was the perfect time

because the new edition of their book Total Participation Techniques is coming out and I

found the first edition so helpful that I knew she would have some amazing strategies to share from the book
