Hello and welcome to the chipping forecast.

Quite a special chipping forecast.

It's the start of a new era.

We are striking out on our own, like three wildebeests deciding to leave the safety of the herd

and wander off to see what's out there.

One of the wildebeests has a heavy cold,

another has an intercostal strain from playing a game of wildebeest paddle.

And the third wildebeest just seems quite miserable,

and he's bringing the other two wildebeest down.

And so the other two wildebeest just decide to set off

and they're only leaving the miserable wildebeest doing his own thing.

Anyway, you can guess who's who? Eddie Pepperel, man of the cold, wildebeest with the cold. How is the man flu? This one has been a man flu. I know Ian said about it the other week when I was a bit unwell, but it wasn't quite nerd. I've definitely been struggling a bit this weekend especially, so there we go. It's that time of the year. It's the first January i've been at home for over a decade and i i hate januaries so i need to be away i've discovered yeah i mean

because you usually do get a little bit of uh january sunshine and it does make if you're at home

throughout the whole winter and again similarly i i've never really been at home throughout the whole winter certainly not for years and years and years and I'm doing it now I mean it's a bit of a bit of a struggle you need a party to light in the mood something like that well that was the sad part having to cancel on Ian on on Saturday I was I was sad to have to do that and well no I was I was genuinely coming and I wanted to be there and when Ian said that Bernie was going to be disappointed. I was sad to have to do that. Well, no, I was genuinely coming and I wanted to be there. And when Ian said that Bernie was going to be disappointed, I was then doubly sorry because it would have been great to meet the great Bernie Torpint. And yeah, but there we go.
