Summary

On December 17, 1927, twelve-year-old Marion Parker was inadvertently handed over to a kidnapper by naive school employees. What started out as a kidnapping for ransom turned into what the Los Angeles Times deemed "The Case of the Century." The kidnapper eventually returned Marion to her parents...in pieces. This is the unfortunate story of the kidnapping and murder of Marion Parker.

1:07.3	sister named Marjorie Parker and just so you know Marion and Marjorie are not

1:13.4	Okay so they were fraternal and they didn't look like each other.
1:17.4	They look like sisters as you would expect but they were not twins.
1:20.3	They were born to a Perry and Geraldine Parker.
1:24.0	They lived in Los Angeles.
1:27.0	Marjorie and Marion had an older brother named Perry Parker Jr.
1:32.0	Perry Parker worked at First National Trust and Savings Bank and he worked there for over 20 years.
1:38.0	He was an officer.
1:40.0	I'm not exactly sure what that means, but I think it's like a manager I'm assuming
1:43.2	Yeah, I think so and Gerald Dean was a stay-at-home mother.
1:47.6	Marion was particularly close to her father and she would often go and join him when she could at the bank.
1:55.6	So everybody at the bank knew Marion.
1:57.6	Hanging out at the bank sounds like a blast.
1:59.4	Hanging out with her dad.
