Why, hello there, everyone. It's Nate with yet another episode of The Vinyl Guide, the weekly podcast where we get together and we talk

about records and vinyl collecting products, all sorts of different stuff that interest us,

record nerds. Now, today's episode's going to be really cool. I'm going to be talking to a guy

named Parker Macy. Now, Parker is the owner of Cream Tangerine Records in Southern California.

Now, if you haven't been to Cream Tangerine Records, it's in the city of Costa Mesa,

and it is really a record store worth checking out.

It was one of the ones featured in the record store book, the one we profiled of the 50 iconic record stores in southern California.

Cream Tangerine Records is one of the featured shops in that, and it is really cool and unique,

and it has a great vibe. So I picked up a lot of really cool records there, and I had a great

conversation with Parker, which you're going to hear in a moment. Also be going through some

listener email. I get a lot of your notes and questions, so we'll go through that. That should hopefully be fun. I'm also in a bit of a mood. I'm going to try a little bit of a social experiment this week. So just hear me out on this one. Okay. I'm really proud about what's been happening with the vinyl guide. We've now been in existence for about six months. We've built this really strong, I think very passionate community. We have

subscribers in different parts of the world. I think just about every continent we now cover. We now

have listeners, subscribers in, except Antarctica. But however, hopefully at some point we'll get some

scientists down there that's into vinyl to subscribe to us. However, what I want to do is

continue that growth, continue that momentum. I mean, I'm very humbled by what's happening now.

I'm very happy about the passion and the positive words that I'm getting back from the listeners,

which is great. It's my

goal to continue to find people to join our community who are into records and who love them
