This is Nate Goeer with another edition of The Vinyl Guide,

the podcast by and for fans of vinyl records. Today's episode, we are going to focus

specifically on one record. And it's not just one record we're going to talk about, it's one

pressing of one record and the absolutely fascinating history behind it. Now, this is a record

that many of you already have, I'm sure of that.

However, I'm going to be talking about a pressing, a collector's item, it has a very unique history.

I'm going to be talking about a pressing that perhaps some of you already have and know it,

and I'm hoping that some of you will discover that you do have this and didn't even know you had it.

It's a very special pressing, and what I'm talking about specifically is Led Zeppelin to the Bob Ludwig Hot Mix.

Now, there's a lot going on in this story, and I'm going to try to condense it

and without boring you with too many technical details. However, there's a lot of characters

involved. So I'm going to be going through bit by bit. Perhaps I'm not going to tell the whole

story in its order, but maybe in a Tarantino-esque move, we'll pull it all together at the end. So, shall we

start on our journey?

The first character in the story is Led Zeppelin manager, Peter Grant. Now, you can't tell
