Thru Hiking any one of the Triple Crown trails is a mighty feat in and of its own. Then you have the Triple Crown itself once you've successfully thru hiked all three trails. Now, imagine having completed all three Triple Crown trails three times each! | 0:00.0 | Hey, folks, welcome to the Adventure Sports podcast. I'm your host Mason, but today is a |
| 0:26.7 | throwback Thursday episode with Lent Bunting. I had a hard time name in this episode because there's |
| 0:33.5 | just so much going on. Lent, as you can tell from the title 30 000 miles of hiking uh really |
| 0:39.6 | backpacking and how he did that was through three sets of doing the triple crown so the triple crown |
| 0:46.4 | is a huge through hiking accomplishment which is the appellation trail the continental divide |
| 0:52.6 | trail and the pacific crest. If you do all three |
| 0:55.4 | of those, it's called a triple crown. Well, at the time, at the time of this recording back in 2017, |
| 1:01.6 | Lent was only the third person ever to do that three times. So doing each trail three different |
| 1:07.9 | times for a total of 30,000 miles of through hiking. It is just absolutely |
| 1:13.2 | astonishing. So we're going to hear this conversation. I actually have never listened to this |
| 1:16.9 | episode all the way through. But this is back. Kurt's doing this one. Like I said, |
| 1:21.5 | 2017, episode 327, I believe originally. We're featuring it today, and it's going to be great. |
| 1:28.6 | Give you some inspiration for when the weather warms back up, |
| 1:32.1 | for those of you who are in cold and cold climates, |
| 1:34.7 | and those of you that are in the heat, |
| 1:37.7 | get out there and get some hiking in. |
| 1:39.8 | So, yeah, episode 991. |
| 1:42.4 | Here we go. |
| 1:52.3 | Thank you. So, yeah, episode 991, here we go. Hi, friends. |
| 1:53.2 | Thanks again so much for listening to the Adventure Sports podcast. |
| 1:56.6 | You know, it's just amazing every time I do a show to think about all of you that are out there, |
