J.J. Stankovitz is in Mobile, Alabama at the Senior Bowl. I wanted to start with this.

For people that are going, what's the significance of the Senior Bowl? What is it and why is it so important? Yeah, it's the first

opportunity for NFL teams to start to get to know some of the draft prospects for April's

draft. And, you know, it's a limited pool of players. It's only players who are seniors in

college so you don't have a lot of the top prospects who came out as juniors.

It is sort of a mismatch, a mismatch of guys, you could say.

You know, a lot of the top five, six, seven prospects in the draft aren't here.

Like a Quentin Nelson from Notre Dame is not here.

But it is important because you get to start interviewing these guys here.

You get a full week of practice watching them play and then you get the game over the weekend.

It is important and certain guys can have their stocks significantly rise at the senior ball.

I think Baker Mayfield is one of those guys right now. That will impact the bears at some point.

We'll get into that a little bit later today.

But, you know, a guy like Marcus Davenport from Texas, San Antonio,

a guy maybe not on the national radar during the season.

He's looked great out here this week, too.

I think those are some of the opportunities that you get for some of these guys.

And then for the Bears, for Matt Nagy, this is his first opportunity to go out and do some scouting with Ryan Pace.

They're sitting right up there almost directly behind the camera.

And it's just an important week down here in Alabama just to start this process.
