My guest today is Karen Petro, and she has a great book out that dives into a subject

that should be near and dear to all of us, the Federal Reserve.

Her book, Engine of Inequality, the Fed and the future of wealth in America.

Again, you can't open up the can of worms that is the Federal Reserve without having

something unfold that you can't expect because everyone has a view, everyone has an opinion, and damn it, at the end of the

day, the United States Federal Reserve is politics. And once you know it's politics, the issue is

who is making the decision to benefit who. Because there's tradeoffs in all of these types of choices.

One group wins, another group loses.

Everyone doesn't win in a great game of American politics.
