Summary

In this episode Jordan chats with her dear friend and mega inspiration (and a new podcaster herself), Kelli Tennant! Kelli is also a longtime survivor of chronic Epstein-Barr Virus, and has dealt with years of misdiagnoses and her illness getting in the way of her life time and again. Because of all she has been through, she’s one of the people that Jordan has been able to call at any time, no matter how sick she is herself, for support and compassion. On her new podcast  The Platform, Kelli is offering that same support and love to all of her listeners – plus a whole lot of awesome stories from other inspiring women – so that we can all learn how to navigate perfectionism, health, criticism, success, and growth.

Kelli and Jordan chat about Kelli’s brave decision to leave her career in sports broadcasting to put her health first, what it was like to be struggling with an illness for years before finding the correct diagnosis, the relief of finding a community that can offer support and love, dating someone when you have a chronic illness, and how Ayurveda and functional medicine have helped Kelli heal in her journey.

Are you #OnShrooms yet? Jordan has been loving Four Sigmatic more than ever (if you haven’t already, check out episode 85 with the company’s founder, Tero Isokauppila) because she’s cut out coffee entirely. If you’re trying to stay off of coffee but still want to feel alert and awake, there’s nothing better for you or better tasting than the caffeine-free Four Sigmatic Chaga Elixir . You can go to FourSigmatic.com/BLONDE to get 15% off of your order!

We also have a Four Sigmatic GIVEAWAY! If you want some free goodies, all you have to do is...

Did you know that 75% of people don’t get enough Omega-3s in their diet? It’s crazy! Omega-3s can help optimize mental performance, boost heart health, and reduce inflammation in your muscles and joints – So if you aren’t getting enough in your diet, especially if you are eating a plant-based diet like Jordan, a supplement is really important!! And our sponsor, Omax3, is the purest option on the market. Luckily, you can go to TryOmax.com/blonde to get a FREE box of the incredible Omax3 Ultra-Pure supplements + 3 free gifts when you buy your first box!

We’d like to thank our sponsor, HUM Nutrition! Jordan has been talking about them on the blog for YEARS because they help her feel amazing, and she wants you to know about them, too! HUM is an all-natural line of supplements, and their goal is to use science-based and clinical-backed nutrition as a tool for helping people feel amazing. After being diagnosed with Lyme, Jordan has been all about HUM’s different detoxification supplements like the Daily Cleanse. When you go to HUMNutrition.com, don’t forget to use the discount code SOUL at checkout to get 20% off your first order!
