So Bumble and Biden once again, put his foot into his mouth is demented mouth by claiming that the United States would quote respond militarily if China invades Taiwan, speaking from Tokyo, Japan, Biden was asked point blank.

And the United States would militarily intervene in the event of a Chinese invasion of Taiwan. And here is what he had to say.

Very quickly, you didn't want to get involved in the Ukraine conflict militarily for obvious reasons. Are you willing to get involved militarily to defend Taiwan if it comes to that? Yes, you are.

That's the commitment we made. That's the commitment we made. We are not. Look, here's the situation. We agree with the one China policy. We signed on to it and all the attendant agreements made from there.

But the idea that can be taken by force, just taken by force is just not appropriate to dislocate the entire region and be another action similar to what happened in Ukraine.

Now you see him looking through his notes there, right? Don't worry. Rest assured the entire world saw him shifting through his notes, but it didn't matter. Biden made it very clear that he has no idea what the US United States official position is towards Taiwan. It was rather obvious. And given how long he's been in DC 50 plus years, I think it's a clear sign that we're dealing with someone whose show would just say is not all there.

If you don't know, back in December 16, 1978, President Jimmy Carter announced the United States and the People's Republic of China agreed to establish full diplomatic relations, effective January 1, 1979.

Up until that point, the United States refused to recognize the People's Republic of China. And instead, their support was behind the Nationalist Chinese government on the island of Taiwan, which was formally known as the Republic of China, the ROC.

But as part of this agreement for full diplomatic relations, the US agreed to recognize what's called a one China policy, which recognized the People's Republic of China as quote, the sole legal government of China.

So meaning that the People's Republic of China was and is the only China with no consideration of Taiwan as a separate sovereign entity. And yet, the agreement at the same time refused to recognize China's sovereignty over Taiwan. How's that for ambiguity, right?

So there's only one China. Taiwan is part of that one China. The Chinese government does not have sovereignty over Taiwan.
