Hello, everybody. Tom Woods here. What an interesting guest we have today. It's Patrick Schumacher,

who is an architect and architectural theorist based in London.

He is the principal of the architecture practice Zaha Hadid Architects and has been there since 1988.

He became rather notorious, in particular last year, after delivering a speech before other architects,

on his views of the state of architecture and of what public policy ought to be with regard to public housing, public spaces,

privatization. He gave a sweeping, I guess I would say, Austro-libertarian analysis of pretty much everything, and it just knocked

everybody into some kind of crazed state they haven't quite yet recovered from, and he's not

backing down. He's sticking by what he had to say, and I'm sure you're going to enjoy hearing from him.
