It is Friday afternoon and we figure let's get you into the weekend.

Thinking about something other than the basketball transfer portal. I know that's what is on everybody's mind right now but uh we haven't done a football

podcast in a little bit we've seen a little bit of spring ball we've talked a lot with the coaches

and players so joey wagner and i figure we give the podcast over to you guys in a football aspect so

i'm sure people are going to come into this live YouTube podcast show and want to talk O'Ina basketball because Josh Dix is off to Creighton. The good news is he's not going to Iowa. He's not going to Indiana. And we'll see what happens with Jalen Sellers and the transfer portal with Illinois basketball. But can this be a safe place?

Can we be just Illinois football here, Joey, for the next hour?

I think you and I can.

I get it.

Like this, and there's new faces you're bringing in.

There's frustration.

There's anxiety.

There's all of those emotions.

Because people want to see their basketball programs,

stay at the level or move up the level that it's been at.

It is, the transfer portal message board is not for the week, Jeremy.

There are a lot of emotions.

There are a lot of questions, which I understand, all of those things.

So maybe we can keep this as a football space until St. Dom gets here.

It is not for the week.

It is not for the impatient.

And I would just say, like, hey, if you want to be upset, Josh Dix goes elsewhere.
