Moon, Matt Nagy, the

Bears next head coach. Let's get right to it. What are your initial thoughts on this hire?

I really do like the way, how aggressive they went after this, I mean, to, you know, I sort of

sense that they were fast-tracking this whole thing when they had

Ted Phillips and George McCasky going on the first round of interviews.

Something really strange about that.

I think a lot of fans, and I wasn't sure that was a good idea, but it was very clear they wanted

to get this done quickly, and then they turned down Vic Fangio for chances to interview elsewhere.

That's not the nature. That's not the kind of people that Phillips and Ryan Pace would be.

That told me they were really hoping he would stick around. Give us a couple days. Let us see if we can get

this done. And the more I thought about it, today made sense as the day they were going to try to

get something done. Yeah, we'll get into Fangio a little bit later here on the pod, but this is a hire that Ryan Pace clearly had a lot of

conviction in to do it. I mean, Vic Fangio aside, Ryan Pace is hiring the head coach that he is tethering himself

and his franchise quarterback to.

This isn't something that he would have done in a rushed manner, but he had conviction.

He went out and he got his guy.

And look, this is, this kind of seems similar to the drafting of Mitchell Tribusky, right?

Ryan Pace has conviction in his guy.

He does what is necessary to go out and get him.

And now you have Chibisky, Matt Nagy, Ryan Pace. These are the three most important people
