Before we begin, this edition of the Undercenter podcast, a quick note for me, J.J. Stankovitz,

Moon and I recorded this episode at about 2 o'clock on Monday afternoon.

That was about two hours before a two-year contract extension was announced for Ryan Pace.

We did talk a little bit about some of the uncertainty involving Ryan Pace and his

previous contract, which only ran through 2019 in the podcast, to just put a bow on this,

the decision to extend Ryan Pace is a good one.

It may not be from an accountability standpoint, but from a football standpoint, it'll

allow the Bears to hire the head

coach that they want and pair him with Ryan Pace for four years.

I had a very nice meal there and was in bed by about 1230.
