Towers, stadiums, temples, ziggurots, rising high.

Tearing through all of these massive structures is, you can see at a distance, the vortex.

It's a multi-level labyrinth of freeways,

crisscrossing, in and out,

creating a tornado-like mess of twisting roads.

So at a distance, this is Los Angeles. It's like all these incredible towers

and this wild and arcane, messy vortex of the freeway.
