All right, let's get to it. Today we're talking about the power that comes from deciding to become

a professional, or in other words, leaving the life of an amateur behind and becoming a pro.

Now there's actually a great book on this topic called Turning Pro by a gentleman named Stephen

Pressfield.

I've given away over I think 1,200 copies of this book to my coaching students and to some of my friends.

So there's obviously a big difference between being an amateur and being a professional, but every

pro was once an amateur, right?

But the problem is, so many people keep one foot in each camp

and go towards success, really in a halfway

or a dabbling sort of way.

What you'll find is that amateurs are people that remain an

amateur hope for a better life. But you see professionals work to make it

happen. There's a quote from Estay Lauder where she says I never dreamed

about success. I worked for for it now I don't necessarily

agree with her about not dreaming about success because I believe that dreaming

precedes goal setting which then proceeds working towards that goal,
