You know, last year when I was on the Contra Cruise, which is the annual cruise I co-host with

Bob Murphy, I was actually just before the Contra Cruise.

I was in the hotel room the night before, and I was preparing some episodes.

And I remember I prepared an episode where I took a lecture from my LibertyClastroom.com website,

and I made that into an episode of the show because I had so many episodes

to cover while I was gone. Well, I'm out of town right now, and I've recorded about the last,

oh, I don't know, 817 episodes or something in advance so that I could go out of town.

But I'm running out of energy here. I'm running out of steam. So I'm going to treat you to another

free sample from Liberty Classroom. This is a really good one, though, because this has got some

terms in there that a lot of people here thrown around, but they're not so sure they could

really define if they had to. And what we're going to do here is I'm going to have Jason

Jewel, who's been on this show before, walk you through part of his course on the history of conservatism and libertarianism at Liberty Classroom.

He's going to walk you through the terms neoconservatism, which is, you know, a lot of people say, all right, I've heard the term.

I roughly know what a neocon is, but that's about all I know. And also Strausianism. Now, you may be less likely to have heard of the Strausians, but the Strausians also are important to know. They're also everywhere and extremely annoying. So they're good to know to watch out for. So he's going to

talk about in his usual restrained and scholarly way that I very much envy, Jason will talk to you

about these very important aspects of the intellectual history of the American right, let's say.
