We're sitting here at Canlback Ranch and had a chance to talk to Michael Copac today.

And you've spent a lot of time with Michael and you always know that when you sit down with Mount Copac for interview, it's going to be interesting.

He comes to play and he gives you some good stuff.

Yeah, I mean, and I mentioned this too shortly after the interview.

There's never a time when we do a long-form interview with him that I'm not just left in

awe and completely surprised by what he'll elaborate on and what he'll say next because we've

dove into these topics before with him and he always just adds like another layer.

Yeah.

And the thing I like about him the most, it's just the,

I think he's, I like the human element part of him.

You know, one of the toughest things to do,

and one of the things I like to do, and you like to do it a lot,

is to humanize these guys to show people that, you know, when they go home, they're normal human beings.

And I know it's a little hard to actually separate that sometimes from a guy who throws 105 miles an hour and 6 foot 4 and has a frame like Chuck.

But that's what's great about him is that he just, he's aware of the hurdles he's had to overcome and what the things he has not accomplished yet in front of him.

And it's just, it's just always a good, fun conversation.

So he's had a lot of adversity in his life, and you could argue that if he had not had this fight with a teammate,

and he broke his left hand in that fight and had to sit out the entire year,

if he did not fail a drug test when he was with the Red Sox in their minor league system
