women, imperfect stories, and the God who's at work in our mess. Well, my name is Jen

Jewel, and I have the tremendous honor of hosting you here at the Messy Table, a faith-fueled

conversation-style podcast, which unleashes a brand new story of hope every other Tuesday. And back with me today

as my co-host is my sweet friend, Amy Groschelle. And guys, we are actually partnered with the

women of our church, life church. But beyond that, we simply love locking arms with you,

with people from all over the greater capital C church, with women who courageously

peel back some layers on a messy piece of their life. It could be a good mess, it might be a hard

mess, but we truly, truly believe that God is working in the mess. So you know how it is. We're

all busy. We can get so caught up in our daily routines and work

schedules and raising kids and just making life happen. But we exist because it is nice to intentionally

slow down and remember what matters most. Fun story, I recently had a gal reach out to me who had just

moved to the East Coast with her family, wasn't really able to meet new people

because of the pandemic, was feeling pretty isolated at home with two young kids.

But she prayed that God would bring some kind of mentorship into her life.

She said that in a very unique way, at a unique time in history, God met her right

where she was through the women who share on this podcast.
