where I can personally report that St. Louis has been abandoned by FEMA.

that remains the undisputed champ of American literature.

Well, okay, I must say it is frequently

disputed. Yeah. But whatever. Ignore those people. Spoiler alert. Yeah, we're going to spoil it

for you. So strap in. But first, I had to drive down to St. Louis yesterday on a stepchild mission

and mission accomplished, by the way.

And I was not at all surprised that FEMA clearly has no intention whatsoever of helping them recover from the May 16, 2025 tornado that we talked about extensively since it affected both of our kids down there.

And the track through more than 20 miles of urban areas of

Greater St. Louis and destroy significant parts of the city. The wealthy neighborhoods, no surprise,

are doing much better. They've replanted their ornamental lawn gardens and their mansions are

being re-roofed, but the poorer black neighborhoods get nothing, nothing at all.

You do see pyramids of bricks pile up on the sidewalk outside of smashed buildings,

recovered and stacked for maybe reuse someday if that ever happens.

And there's fresh plywood over some doors and storefront windows, but nothing else has been

done. There's no recovery in sight.
