So, the impeachment trial is underway.

And oh, the excitement.

And oh, the riveting spectacle of all of it.

If you feel like this whole thing is too theatrical, that's because it is. It's incredibly dumb. It's incredibly theatrical. And none of it really is going to make a difference because we all know where this is going. The New York Times basically admitting it as much yesterday. Jesse Wegman, a member of the editorial board, has an entire piece lamenting the fact that the Democrats don't actually have the goods.

He blames that on Republicans because he's from the New York Times.
