Can the ACC keep its conference intact?

Mike Ferrell, the Godfather recruiting joins the show,

With all the seismic shifting we are seeing with team swapping conferences left and right,

there are some conferences that are going to be extinct very shortly.

We see the Pac-12 is disappearing quicker than the Falcons lead in Super Bowl 51, and there's

been some speculation that the SEC is going to grab some of the top shelf liquor that belongs

to the Atlantic Coast Conference.

But after a report's surface that it will cost $500 million for a team to lead the ACC

by 2036, one would have to assume the conference should feel somewhat safe.

After all, why would you pay that amount of money to just go get your ass kicked on the

regular?

I'm not saying that Clemson or a couple others wouldn't have any success in the SEC.

We've seen what Clemson's been able to do, but at that price to quote Randy from American

Idol, to note for me, dog, the only way I see the ACC going down is if they were to merge

with another mega conference and bring in 20, 25 teams.

But I also believe the ACC is somewhat on the way up.

Just look, Mario's at Miami, Dave Doran is three years from St. Hood and Rally, and even

Wake Forest has started to hit the come up a little bit.
