Today’s episode we talk with sea kayak guide and adventurer, Jeremy Carberry, about circumnavigating the Santa Rosa Island of Channel Islands National Park. Jeremy and his crew had to endure rough seas, storms, elephant seal-covered beaches that prevented them from finding camping spots, as well as Great White Sharks.

near L.A. And super unique. They've had animals that are only, you know, that kind of micro-evolved

beautiful place. I've heard incredible things about it. I've actually never been there.

I have planned a backpacking trip for someone there one time, funny enough, at the last

company I worked with, but I'd never actually been there. But Jeremy's going to tell us about

one of the islands there, the biggest island, and what that was like, how difficult it was.

There's so many challenges with like the surf and the waves and tides and just a storm and everything
