Well, the president of the United States just exited the

stage after making a statement over the situation in Iraq and Iran. I'm going to give you the background,

and then we will inform you as to what President Trump just had to say and what it actually meant.

His speech was actually quite good. The president's speech was given from a teleprompter. He did not

take any questions. It lasted about 10 minutes, and he said everything that needed to be said. We'll go through his actual statement in a second first, the event of last night, which threw everybody into a panic, at least momentarily. So after the killing of Kassim Soleimani, which followed hard on the attempt to burn down the United States embassy in Baghdad, an act that was coordinated and ordered by Soleimani.

And Soleimani had then come to Iraq to coordinate further attacks.

The fact that the Iranians were going to respond after Soleimani was killed, that was inevitable.

We all knew it.

Iran was going to do it.

Everybody knew this was coming.

So the president of the United States orders Soleimani taken out.

He is taken out.

So is the head of the popular local militia front, which was responsible for the Baghdad embassy attack.

Trump orders the death of Soleimani.

And we get these theatrics, these hysterics from the Iranian government, the Ayatollah Khomeini standing in front of the box

containing the remains of Soleimani and weeping. We get hundreds of thousands, if not millions of

people in the streets in Tehran. And we get the media losing their minds over all of this.

Obviously, this is going to the prelude for war. And all of the last 48 hours has been the media
