Spring training is upon us. White Sox,

pitchers and catchers report next week. Wednesday, to be exact, the full squad reports

on February the 19th, and when they do, will there be a newly signed designated hitter

joining them in Glendale? And if so, who's it going to be?

That is what we're going to discuss today.

This all started, by the way, because John Heyman reported that the White Sox are in the market for a D.H.,

specifically ruling out Matt Kemp.

They want any D.H but Matt Kemp.

And guys, some interesting names are available on this list that we've put together. Yeah. And guys, some interesting names are available on this list that we've put together.

Yeah. And the thing about it is there's interesting names that are not on the list that we've put together because of this, you know, you're talking about 100 guys being available right now.

And this kind of tsunami that people are talking about, this like this windfall effect that once one guy signs and there's going to be the panic that takes over. I mean, I'm sure guys are panicking right now. Yeah, they've got to be panicking. So look, the bottom line, we've got to really dissect. I don't want to get into the names just yet as much as why. Just answering the question, do the White Sox need ADHD? And the question is absolutely yes. And I know, Chris, that I'm not sure you agree with that statement, which is I love what. I hope you know. Hold on now. I agree with a statement. Oh. I don't. I just, it's hard for me to see them actually executing something here. Why is that? I just, I don't know. It's just one of those instinct things.

It doesn't, you know. You feel they're just going to wait until next year, two years from now to sign APH? It just kind of feels, yeah. I got the impression that Hans done. Okay. I'm like, you know, I hope I'm wrong. All right. Well, we'll play along, though. We'll play long. I got a list of names. Let's roll.

Okay. Okay. So we're going to do that.

You got into the names. There's so many big names out there.

But what's shocking to me is Cody Ashy signed a minor league deal.

Alan Hanson signed a minor league deal. Are these two guys the smartest guys in the market?

Cody Ashy and Alan Hansen read the market correctly way back when they said, you know what, we're going to get under the radar and we're going to sign our, sign with our respective teams. No. I think the Royals sign Cody Ashy. Because those guys are looking for opportunities to play. And the Royals are probably an opportunity where Cody Asson could latch on maybe. He's like a 25th man. But not that you can't find opportunities with the White Sox, but look, this is, if you're a team like the White Sox, you might be, you know, able to cash in on a lottery ticket. Yes. Where you can get a guy that you probably didn't think you'd get three months ago on a one-year flip type deal, a Carlos Gonzalez, for instance. You know, cargo has made a lot of sense for the White Sox for like seven years. Yeah, I'm going to make a, no, I don't want to make a prediction, but I know he's high on your list, Carlos Gonzalez. Yeah. But there's a few other guys. But I mean, I've seen names out there, like there's been a Mike Mustakis kind of, you know. We're going to get into moustacus because that it brings up a whole other thing he's not exactly a D.H but he

could fit into what the White Sox might be trying to do or we might bring up the question of

why is Mike Mustakis asking so much money and he needs to decide or change him and
