0:19.7	this episode with an apology. It's been a while since I put out the last episode on the
0:25.1	secret court of the Republic of Texas and I'm just going to plead busyness. If you haven't noticed
0:31.2	there's an election going on and many of the listeners to this podcast know I said as a justice on the 14th Court of Appeals
0:38.1	Our headquarters courthouse is in Houston, but we cover 10 counties in southeast and central Texas, over 6 million
0:47.5	people in that 10 county district. And so it's a little bit busy right now since I'm on the ballot on November 3rd and that's why it's been a little while since I've done an episode
0:59.7	campaigning in 10 counties with over 6 million people is like running in one of the 20th largest
1:07.4	states in the country.
1:09.8	And so it is a little bit busy.
1:12.0	One day, a quick anecdote, I went out to deliver some signs and
1:16.1	do a little campaigning. I drove 400 miles in one day and never left the appellate district.
1:22.0	So that's what I've been up to.
