The little sproutling thought for a moment. “Well…I saw that the first girl on the left side of the room believed she could do her assignment, and she’s doing great! But the second girl, on the right side of the room, thinks the assignment is too hard for her, and she got stuck.”
“You're very observant,” the fern whispered back. “The thoughts we think are like the soil we’re planted in. When the soil is rich and strong, we grow tall and healthy. But if the soil is dry and weak, growing is much harder. It’s just the same with the way we speak to ourselves.”
