to Washington, D.C., to advocate for our public lands and wildlife.

And today, we are recapping for you, a recent trip that I took just last week actually with

Mr. Ryan Callahan to visit Washington DC. We were speaking there with our elected officials

about the importance of our public lands, our wildlife, hunting and fishing opportunities,

and everything in between.

And if you have been following the news and various outlets that cover conservation and public

lands and wildlife related issues, then you're probably aware of some of the things going on.

If not, maybe you're a little bit out of the loop.

We've tried to cover some of this here on Wired Hunt.

We actually just had Cal on the podcast maybe a month and a half, two months ago to talk about some things.

But since then, there have been all sorts of new issues and updates when it comes to what's happening with environmental protections,

with public land related regulations and protections.

There have been a number of proposals that raise some red flags when it comes to the future of these things.

Take, for example, proposals from the current administration to possibly sell public lands for

housing. There have been other serious discussions within Congress about using the sale of public lands to fund some of our budget

issues at the moment that are being debated within the budget reconciliation process.
