In a quiet room on Ahway Island, a small desk sat by the window. On the desk was a zippered pouch filled with colorful markers.  All the markers listened closely to hear if anyone was coming to the desk, but right now, the room was quiet. The only sound they could hear was the soft chirping of birds outside the window.

Two markers sat side by side in the pouch. One was a thin, fine-line marker, slim and shiny with a black cap. The other was a thick-line marker, short and sturdy with a big purple body and cap. They were waiting for their child to use them again.
Today’s Meditation: Feel calm and relaxed as you imagine a baby elephant and its mama.
